libwww: General-purpose client side Web API written in C for Unix and Windows
(Win32) Last modification on December 20 2000.
Leda: LEDA is a library of the data types and algorithms of combinatorial
computing. Last modification on August 28 2000.
ROOT: ROOT is an OO framework for large scale scientific data analysis and
data mining. It has been developed at CERN with the sponsorship of HP and is
currently being used by a large number of scientists. The ROOT system, written
in C++, contains, among others, an efficient hierarchical OO database, a C++
interpreter, advanced statistical analysis (multi dimensional histogramming,
fitting and minimization algorithms), visualization tools and a large set of
GUI classes. Last modification on December 22 2000.
GLib: GLib is a library containing many useful C routines for things such as
trees, hashes, and lists. Last modification on September 30 2000.
LEDA: a library of efficient datatypes and algorithms. Last modification on August 26 2000.
LinuxThread: LinuxThreads is an implementation of the Posix 1003.1c thread package
for Linux. Unlike other implementations of Posix threads, LinuxThreads provides
kernel-level threads: threads are created with the new clone() system call and
all scheduling is done in the kernel. Last modification on September 24 2000.
SimPack: a collection of C++ tools (routines and programs) for computer
simulation. Last modification on May 22 1997.
Library of Practical Abstractions: The current LIBPA release is a source code distribution only. It
consists of modules for portable memory management, one dimensional arrays of
arbitrary types, compact symbol tables, hash tables for arbitrary types, a trie
module for length-delimited strings over arbitrary alphabets, single precision
floating point numbers with extended exponents, and logarithmic representations
of probability values using either fixed or floating point numbers. Last modification on February 9 1998.
GNU C Library: The GNU C standard library. One of the foundations of the Linux system. Last modification on November 14 2000.
CNCL: a collection of C++ class library. Last modification on September 18 2000.
GTL: a graph library based on STL. Last modification on October 26 2000.
The Standard Function Library (SFL): The SFL (Standard Function Library) from iMatix is a portable function
library for C/C++ programs. The SFL is the result of many years' development,
and is provided as free software for the benefit of the Internet community. Last modification on April 5 2000.
Libretto: Easy-to-use generic container types for C, plus some random utility
functions. Last modification on October 22 2000.
Synthesis Toolkit: STK is a set of audio signal processing C++ classes and instruments for
music synthesis. You can use these classes to create programs which make cool
sounds using a variety of synthesis techniques. Last modification on November 15 2000.
